This is the main character and also the starting point of my own personal project at my artschool. In this early stage, the main objective was finding the correct style to define the whole thing, so I went through many artists and artbooks and styles before finding a fitting one. What you see here in the developing stages are some examples of the process, I was looking for a creepy yet playful aesthetic wich would have defined the entire story and project as I went through it; Tim Burton, Medievil and Alice Madness Returns have been the major inspirations for this story full of dark humor, creepy circuses, sinister carnivals and very strange guys.
So here we are, welcome to the Freak Show!

This character has the power of making everything he mimes as if it was really there, even though it clearly is not. Plus some magic "tricks".
